College of Central Florida to hold workshops to help with financial aid

Free in-person guidance for completing the FAFSA form

The College of Central Florida (CF) will be hosting summer FAFSA workshops to help prospective or current college students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The FAFSA form is free to fill out and is used to determine a student’s eligibility for federal student aid. The workshops will provide in-person guidance on how to complete the FAFSA form.

Attendees are encouraged to create their Federal Student Aid ID at least three business days before the workshop event. This can be done by going to studentaid.gov/fsa-id.

The following workshop dates and locations are available for drop-in assistance:

Ocala Campus (3001 S.W. College Road, Ocala) – Saturday, June 22, 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, July 13, 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, July 16, 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, July 16, 1:30-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Wilton Simpson Citrus Campus (3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto) – Tuesday, June 25, 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, July 10, 9 a.m.-noon, Monday, July 29, 9 a.m.-noon

Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus (15390 N.W. Highway 19, Chiefland) – Thursday, June 27, 9 a.m.-noon, Thursday, July 18, 9 a.m.-noon
